The fruit for this wine is handpicked from our older vines. The wine is named in honour of Valerie Friend as a co-founder of Narkoojee. The Valerie series is reserved for small parcels of supreme quality wines. It was fermented by indigenous yeasts and matured in new and one year old French oak hogsheads. This is a beautifully balanced, intense and complex wine with a lovely creamy texture and natural mineral acidity.
