This wine is named in honor of Athelstan Friend who originally operated the Narkoojee property as a dairy farm. The fruit from the cool 2022 season was hand-picked from our estate vines and fermented by indigenous yeasts. This is a beautiful, lively, and flavorsome wine and can be expected to develop further over the next ten years or so.
