Harriet Friend is the granddaughter of founders Harry and Val Friend.  With her sparkling personality, it is fitting that this wine be named after her.  The fruit is handpicked from our estate plantings and is 90% chardonnay with 10% pinot noir, to contribute an attractive touch of mother-of-pearl to the colour.  Produced by the traditional method with a contribution from yeast lees, it is a full flavoured style but with a crisp acidity, making it an excellent aperitif.
