The fruit for this wine is hand-picked from our estate plantings.  The wine is named after Val and Harry Friend’s first grandson Isaac Friend.  The cool 2022 season has produced an excellent cool climate style shiraz with an intense palate of blackberry fruit, with obvious white pepper on the nose and spicey French oak.  Fermented by wild yeasts, this is a lovely shiraz, which will repay cellaring for 6 years or more.
