The fruit for this wine was sourced from the renowned Heathcote region in central Victoria. The cooler 2023 season has produced a shiraz more in the cool climate style with an intense palate of blackberry fruit and spicey French oak. Fermented by wild yeasts, this is a lovely shiraz, which will repay cellaring for ten years or more

Colour: Dense and vibrant blackberry with crimson edges
Bouquet: Blackberry with dark chocolate, a touch of black olive, aniseed and cedary French oak
Flavour: Blackberry and black plum with a touch of licorice, soy and spicy French oak
Texture: Mouth-filling with rounded tannins carry through to a long, lively finish
