This wine is named in honour of Athelstan Friend who originally operated the Narkoojee property as a dairy farm. The fruit from the mild 2023 season was hand-picked from our estate vines and fermented by indigenous yeasts. This is a beautiful, lively and flavorsome wine and can be expected to develop further over the next ten years or so.
