The fruit for this wine was hand-picked from our estate plantings. The wine is named after Val and Harry Friend’s first grandson Isaac Friend.  The moderate 2024 season has produced an excellent medium bodied shiraz with an intense palate of black cherry, black pepper on the nose and spicy French oak.  Fermented by wild yeasts, this is a lovely shiraz which will repay cellaring over 7 years or more.
