The fruit for this wine was hand picked from our estate plantings and was fermented by indigenous yeasts.  It is named in honour of Edna Rae Friend, the mother of Narkoojee’s co-founder, Harry Friend.  Edna and her husband Athelstan, owned and operated the dairy farm that is now the site of the Narkoojee vineyard and winery.  The wine comprises 100 % pinot noir fruit and is full flavoured with a lush sweetness and gentle fizz.
